Pros: nice pocket travel guide

Pocket Map and Guide Venice (Eyewitness Travel Guides) by DK Publishing is an excellent book providing all you want to see and enjoy in Venice if you are a visitor or aim to go there. I have been traveling to Italy for short vacations and have been to Venice a few times and as long as I have a map I won’t get lost. This map will serve that purpose and its size and tourist information is a real plus. Like most maps the type is small so I carry a small wide magnifying glass.

Otherwise, this guide is packed with all the necessary information on all the main sites, maps, and travel information in a concise manner without having to pay for a more expensive / comprehensive guide designed for longer visits. This book is a fully illustrated guide to all the major sights and the guide also includes restaurants, pubs and shops and a mini-phrasebook. This guide is really packed with a lot of information city maps, dining, street maps, and much more.
