Pros: nice elementary book

This book The Art of Sign Language (Pocket Guide Series) written by Christopher Brown is a brave attempt towards learning sign language that leads to greater communication skills. In this book the author has provided the basics of sign language for people who didn’t had any prior knowledge of sign. This book is divided into17 sections all of which teaches sign language by using themed exercises about topics such as everyday communication, the body, home, school, leisure, eating, and drinking.

This book can be termed as an elementary level book to sign language, but if you are interested in mastering in ASL then you need to look for some other book. There are some elementary mistakes in this book but the signs in this book are clear and with all the pictures easy to learn.
