This pocket guide is designed for use as a convenient, quick reference as you learn and implement lean manufacturing tools and techniques. It provides valuable insight into the nuances of lean from a team of lean sensi's throughout the world.
This book is a must have and read for the process improvement team and the format of this handbook is definitely easy to use, it gives simple explanations on the concepts and tools of Lean. |
Each tool is described clearly and simply in a couple of pages with a step by step guide for implementation.
What I do like about the XL version, including the new chapters on Lean Office, Six Sigma, is the Glossary of Lean Terms and the Waste Audit. The only shortcoming with this book is that you probably need to have a background understanding of lean and its principles to use book otherwise it’s a handy book.
