Pros: humorous, stylish, revealing book
Cons: not so appalling

This book Lipstick: A Celebration of the World's Favorite Cosmetic by Jessica Pallingston is humorous, well-written, and full of lipstick info. This book is a must for all those lipstick fanatics and includes recipes for making your own lipstick, as well as the psychology of lipstick, and much more. This is an amazingly comical, stylish, and revealing book. Lots of mesmerizing (and some strange) chronological facts, recipes, alteration advice, ideas, and Sigmund Freud's very own guide to figuring out what the shape of your lipstick Says About Your Psyche!
The history lesson isn't the only interesting part of this book. The section about dealing with pushy and "evil" makeup salesman is without doubt a helpful tool |
