Pros: great book, informative

The Kingdon Pocket Guide to African Mammals (Princeton Pocket Guides) by Jonathan Kingdon is a practical, portable and fully illustrated guide covering every species of African mammal in existence. This book is excellently written with lots and lots of information about African mammals and is a must have for all those who intend to go to Africa. This is an essential guide for anyone with an interest in wildlife who visits Africa--from the tourist on safari to the more experienced naturalist.

Compact and beautifully illustrated, it is ideal for use in the field, while its coverage is the most comprehensive for any book of its size.

Overall this is a good book along with the diagrams which are detailed well and the descriptions of the animals are also helpful. There are various topics covered in this book among them one is about African Safari which is my favorite topic. Small size and well organized format made The Kingdon Pocket Guide to Africa easy to use in the field.
